Working with Audio

Each scene can have zero, one or more sound tracks. If there is more than one sound track, they will be played in sequence.

To add audio to a scene

  1. Click the Add Sound Track button.
  2. Select the type (or source) of the sound track:
    • Silence
      Play silence. You specify the elngth in the Duration box
    • Play video's sound
      Plays the sound of the selected video if you have selected a static video as source for the visual content.
    • Play movie's base sound track
      Plays the base (background) sound of the selected dynamic movie if you have selected a dynamic movie as source for the visual content.
    • Play sound movie's scene
      Plays the sound one or more scenes of the selected dynamic movie if you have selected a dynamic movie as source for the visual content.
    • Play sound in assets (Static Asset)
      Plays the sound from the selected audio file.
    • Play sound in assets (Variable Asset)
      Plays the sound from the audio file whose name is supplied by the value of a parameter. Enter the name of the parameter in the box.
    • Fetch Sound File from Server (Static URL)
      Specify a URL of a sound resource that is located on a remote server.
    • Fetch Sound File from Server (Variable URL)
      Play the sound from the audio whoise URL is provided by a varaibles's value
    • . Enter the name of the parameter in the box.
  3. Optionally, enter a time for Fade In and Fade Out
  4. Click OK.
  5. Repeat all steps to play several sound tracks in sequence. Click the up and down arrows to change the order of sound tracks.
